Civil War Monitor (temporarily) Gratis for Cosmic Americans!

That's right - Terry Johnston, the editor of the outstanding publication, Civil War Monitor, is offering temporary free access to the magazine's digital edition for Cosmic America readers. If you are part of the CA Inner Circle, you were notified a while back that yours truly has an article in the CWM fall issue - all about Confederates in the trenches at Petersburg, and how they thought they would eventually strike a decisive blow against Grant's army. The title of the piece is taken from a Rebel's letter home: "Grant, Your Cause Is Ruin."

You can purchase this issue at your local newsstand and read to your heart's content - or - you can subscribe and read it online, which should appeal to the technologically savvy among us. Greetings Cosmic Americans!

There are a lot of things coming up for the Cosmic America Civil War multi-media network. So many things, in fact, that I thought it would be useful to set up a hotline notification system to alert Cosmic Americans everywhere of soon-to-be-released projects and various other media endeavors.

Well, I do not want to spoil any surprises, but I will tell you that I have some projects in development that should prove beneficial to Civil War students, teachers, buffs, researchers, and enthusiasts around the world. My next projects will include interactive components, video components, a writing collective, and a number of other things that are continually churning forth from the insomniac idea factory.

What Ever Happened to Cosmic America Office Hours?

Greetings Cosmic Americans!

Remember a few months back when I used to field questions from all over the world about the Civil War? Oh sure you do. I would put them on Youtube and everything. Well, after a long hiatus I have decided to resurrect Cosmic America Office Hours. 

Once a week I will be picking questions from the many that I receive each week and broadcasting my answers via the usual social media suspects. God I love the Internet.

What's more you ask? Well, I have signed on with a multi-media Civil War juggernaut that - based on what I have seen so far - should be pretty awesome. It is a collaborative effort...so expect anything. I am keeping the particulars quiet until launch date - so stay tuned. I will keep you posted.
